All postal operators are advising some delays due to increased social distancing measures and staff absences, combined with a surge in online shopping as consumers work from home. Many posts are not providing physical signatures/PODs to maintain safety.
Within the EU there are varying levels of partial lockdown, most countries have closed leisure outlets, but shops remain open. EU countries that have deliveries to parcel lockers or PUDO points have challenges when those are located within temporarily closed businesses, causing additional delays

CANADA - Canada Post has resumed operations within Toronto, there are some minor delays, while backlogs are cleared.
EU - A number of EU countries have travel restrictions in place in a bid contain the surge in infection rates, several have partial or complete lockdowns, as well as some curfews. These challenges mean that mail and parcel deliveries can be subject to slightly longer delivery timings.
FRANCE - Remains with tightened restrictions impacting delivery timings, planned to start easing restrictions from June.
GERMANY - In partial lockdown in some states. The Government has advised this may be extended until June.
INDIA - India Post advises that following restrictions introduced to combat the current COVID 19 surge, there is limited domestic transport capacity, and delivery times are not currently guaranteed; this situation is ongoing.
ISRAEL - USPS have removed the service suspension and mailing is resumed – we expect some delays while backlogs are cleared.
POLAND - Poland Post report additional transit times due to very heavy volume of ecommerce and limited staff due to COVID issues.
SLOVAKIA - State of emergency / lockdown is now extended to end of May. In addition Slovakia Post has a reduced work force to comply with Public Health measure, delivery timings are being impacted.
SLOVENIA - Extended lockdown until mid May. Slovenia Post is operating with reduced workforce to maintain safe distancing, delivery timings are being impacted.
SWEDEN - Experiencing delays in MALMO exchange office and are currently routing mail and parcels to Copenhagen.
